Business Analyst (m/f/d)

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and business‑driven Business Analyst (m/f/d) to support our operational teams through data‑driven insights, reporting, and process optimisation. The role has a strong focus on Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance, operational performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and international customers, acting as a key link between data, operational delivery, and strategic decision‑making.
What does your day look like in the role of a Business Analyst (m/f/d):
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for management, operational teams, and customers.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clear visualization to support decision‑making.
- Perform daily, weekly, and ad‑hoc operational performance analyses.
- Operational Performance & KPI Monitoring

- Monitor and analyse KPIs related to operational efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- Focus on operational quality in relation to SLAs and contractual requirements.
- Prepare regular performance summaries and deep‑dive analyses for leadership.
- Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate existing workflows and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and root causes of performance gaps.
- Support and drive process optimisation initiatives based on analytical findings.
- Conduct data reviews of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and operational developments.
- Support department contingency improvement through scenario analysis and data‑based recommendations.
- Operational & Planning Analysis
- Perform ABC reconciliation between operational output and the order book.
- Provide analytical support for operational issue resolution and improvement workshops.
- Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
What do you need to be successful:
- Proven experience in a analytical role within an operational, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and dashboard development.
- Solid experience in data analysis, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
- Ability to analyse operational processes and translate data insights into practical improvement actions.
- Fluent in English and German for customer and stakeholder communication.
