Then read on quickly, because we are looking for a full-time Logistics Process Engineer (m/f/d) in Dorsten.

Our Dorsten facility is a high-tech, automated warehouse spanning 70,000 square meters. We deliver comprehensive logistics solutions, including value-added services and distribution across wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and marketplaces. 

You work in day shift and report to one of the senior managers on site.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize existing logistics processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and stability within our highly automated warehouse operations.
  • Lead and actively participate in optimization and expansion projects, covering the full lifecycle from project initiation and concept development to detailed planning, implementation, hypercare, and successful handover to users and stakeholders
  • Develop and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both new and existing processes to sustainably improve material flow, in close collaboration with the shopfloor trainer.
  • Drive initiatives and projects to improve our Warehouse Management and Warehouse Control Systems
  • Design warehouse layouts, material flows, and workplace setups with a strong focus on ergonomics, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Support the implementation of new IT systems and automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Contribute to the rollout and adoption of new systems, processes, and tools, including training and communication activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners, including IT, Operations, and Training, to ensure alignment and effective end-to-end process execution.

 

Profile:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Professional experience in logistics, process optimization, lean management, or project management, with a strong focus on logistics operations.
  • Analytical and structured working style, combined with excellent communication skills in both German and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in data analysis and documentation.
  • Initial go‑live experience within an automated distribution center is considered an advantage.
