Project Manager IT-Infrastructure
Are you experienced within an IT-Infrastructure role? Then this could be the right vacancy for you! We are recruiting for a Project Manager IT-Infrastructure at GXO Logistics, leading our projects in Dorsten.
What your day as Project Manager IT-Infrastructure looks like:
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects (network, server, storage, cloud, etc.)
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with IT governance and security standards
- Facilitate effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Lead procurement and vendor engagement processes where applicable
- User support in the Microsoft environment (Windows OS, Office 365) on-site or via remote maintenance
- Selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software
- Documentation of IT processes
What you need to be successful in the role of Project Manager IT-Infrastructure:
- Minimum 5 years of work relevant experience;
- Bachelor's or recognisable degree in a quantitative field (such as computer science, IT or relate discipline);
- Proven experience as a IT Project Manager within a highly dynamic operation environment;
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into end-to-end, IT Infrastructure solutions with company standards;
- Ability to achieve standardization and harmonization across the field of IT Infrastructure within the warehouses and offices;
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT Infrastructure environments, hands-on and/or conceptual knowledge;
- Strong ownership and agility to be a single point of contact for a multi layered organizational environment;
- English and German speaking is requirement due to the international nature of the organization.
