As a Wave Planner (m/f/d) you are responsible for optimizing the flow of goods in the warehouse. You will create and coordinate wave plans that determine the order and timing of picking, packing and shipping.

Strong communication skills are required to present complex data in an understandable way and to interact with different stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact

  • As a competent coordinator, you ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly
  • Close collaboration with customers, operational teams and MHE providers
  • Focus on order prioritization and truck planning
  • Control and ensure consistently high warehouse utilization
  • 1st-level support for the shop floor
  • Optimization and development of processes throughout the warehouse including the IT Environment
  • You act as an interface between administration and warehouse
  • Planning and monitoring of order processing and timely processing
  • Key user function for the WCS and WMS system
  • Creating reports, analyses and key figures
  • Timely communication with customers and partners throughout Europe
  • Creation and implementation of departure plans for seasonal and holiday periods
  • Abstract thinking to find the necessary solutions to challenges

 

What you’ll bring to GXO

  • English and German (B2)
  • Understanding of the operational flow of goods in a warehouse
  • Confident use of MS Office products
  • Appreciation of teamwork, both within your own team and with  others
  • A high level of attention to detail to meet customer requirements
  • The desire to grow personally and professionally
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Openness, respect for others and a sensitive character
  • Willingness to contribute, because no process is perfect, but your ideas could bring us closer
