You can join us today as Bid Manager supporting an expanding Central European market with HQ in Düsseldorf. The role itself is fully remote.

 

As Bid Manager you will play a key project manager role in a bid/tender process. Working with country teams to prepare all RFI and RFP/Q content for customer-facing proposals and presentations. A key part of the role is managing multiple stakeholders’ content and creating compelling offers, with clear value.

 

What does your day look like in the role of our Bid Manager:

  • Partnering various business stakeholders including Business Development Managers and Solution Design Engineers to identify and document detailed needs and proposals during sales process.
  • Translating sales requirements, help framing solution, ensuring it meets expectations of the customer.
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts to turn written, numerical, and existing content into visual representation. Developing and creating bid presentations (content and design) and marketing content.
  • Sharing best practices for all focus accounts within the region.
  • Participating in sales and operational meetings, customer site visits and conferences.
  • Ensuring compliance of the process and documentation with relevant regulations.

 

What do you need to be successful:

  • Experience in sales/business development/customer service or related sectors.
  • Knowledge of logistics sector, ideally contract logistics (3PL) is nice to have.
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, project management skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize and organize work effectively (to decide when the result is satisfactory and when it needs more effort)
