Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 driver to join our delivery team in Rochdale for our customer, JD Sports.

You will be contracted to work 40.25 hours per week, working 4 on 4 off, start times between 00:00 (midnight) and 07:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for multi drop delivery, ensuring accurate, timely movement of our customers’ products
• Delivery of totes, ensuring that the loads are secured correctly and the goods are delivered on time, offloaded in the correct manner, paperwork is signed, and any agreed waste or totes are collected to be returned
• Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customer
• Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
• A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
