Warehouse Administrator

Here in Langlands Park, East Kilbride, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Warehouse Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out the clerical functions of the warehouse and operate the computerised elements of the warehouse operational system to ensure the completion of all tasks in line with standards and scheduled requirements.

 

This is a full time, permanent role, working on any 5 out 7 days, covering the hours of 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Ensure that everyone follows site processes and procedures, and that any operational anomalies are recorded
  • Maintain both paper-based and computerised filing systems accurately
  • Provide a high-quality service by producing accurate documentation and records in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative where required
  • Show commitment to continuous development, improving efficiency and productivity, while consistently presenting a professional image that reflects positively on GXO and Sainsbury’s

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in administrative function within logistics is essential
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data is desirable with the ability to produce work accurately to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise own workload and work under pressure
