Continuous Improvement Manager

What do you do as a Continuous Improvement Manager?

Within this role as Continuous Improvement Manager you are active with improving our process in the warehouse in Eindhoven.

Hereby you are focused on improving structures regarding manual and technical processes which take place in the daily operation with the result of creating a productive and innovative environment. As Continuous Improvement Manager you will not do this alone but with the help of your team consisting of 2 Lean Specialists. In addition, you will work closely with other departments within GXO to achieve the intended results.

You will work full-time in day shift.

 

Other activities

  • Defines and develops projects according to customer needs, in accordance with agreed internal procedures
  • Works according to a standard project methodology and prepares project plans and budgets
  • Monitors project progress and project costs
  • Establish improvement proposals in business cases
  • Supervise the implementation of new processes
  • Develop, implement and maintain CI strategy, identify opportunities and analyze causes of problems using Lean improvement projects
  • Responsible to save costs using the LEAN method

Who are you?

  • You have HBO or WO working and thinking level
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in managing a team of engineers in a logistics environment
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • Either Green belt or Black belt Six Sigma
  • You are fluent in English, with Dutch an advantage and have good communication skills
  • You have demonstrable results in improving processes in your role as manager
  • You enjoy coaching others and making improvements along the way
