As a EDI Support Lead you will be supporting GXO Europe Integration operations. You will provide hands-on experience in defining, developing, and providing the operational support service You will provide operational support for both production and lower environments for business-critical applications.


And,  furthermore, you will be also responsible for managing contracts with vendors and control team costs and budgets.

 

You will be expected to lead by example, organize work, build reports, handle escalations, and help with ad hoc projects, and training. You will be able to provide technical expertise in large, complex environments and must have a track record of successful and reference-able customer projects.  

 

What you do on a typical day

 

•    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Technical Support Team
•    Act as a senior agent who will drive customer satisfaction through customer support
•    Act as a mentor and provide oversight, coaching, and training to technical support staff
•    Be the point of contact when it comes to technical escalations
•    Record and track team SLAs and workflows
•    Provide support where needed for both internal and external customers
•    Assist in the creation of the team KPIs as well as monitor and report on results
•    Monitor team performance and report on metrics
•    Ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner
•    Work to create any relevant support material for the team
•    Provide a feedback loop to wider staff and customers on resolved and in progress problems and incidents
•    Implement any necessary preventive measures to reduce customer faults and issues
•    Review all technical support related processes and documentation for continuous improvement
•    Assist in the creation and implementation of customer self-service material and tools
•    Be responsible to track team
•    Responsible for the team projects cost tracking and capitalization process


What you need to succeed at GXO  

 

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). 
•    Fluency in English.
•    Deep understanding of modern cloud system architectures.
•    Integration experience with various technologies (web services, XML, ESB, SOAP, REST, JSON, messaging, etc.).
•    Experience with implementing proactive and preventive measures  for business-critical applications.
•    Knowledge of PaaS, Kubernetes and Docker
•    Able to work with cutting edge technology and assimilate information rapidly
•    Excellent reporting and presentation skills
•    Excellent financial skills
•    Project Management skills
•    Software architecture pattern knowledge
•    Java knowledge (preferred)
•    2+ years of software development experience
-    Desired Characteristics
•    Strong analytical skills coupled with execution mindset and passion for applied software
•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•    Experience with Seeburger midlleware
•    Experience with MuleSoft framework
