We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Development Specialist to continue our success further! You will be responsible for developing the pipeline and continually improve our brand awareness across Belgium & The Netherlands – focus on a large range of business verticals, from Industrial & Spare-parts to Do it Yourself, Technology, Fashion to even Food & Beverages.
 

What you do on a typical day
As a Sales Development Specialist, you will work in a team to engage with potential clients, existing contacts, either digitally or physically. You are not hesitant to pick up the phone, at ease introducing GXO, via warm leads, cold prospecting, industry events and social selling. 
While developing your own customer portfolio, you also acquire a deep understanding of our clients’ challenges and become their trusted Partner. 
 
In this role you will work closely with the Business Development Managers and your colleagues at the Sales Development departments across Europe.  You will be based at our HQ in Eindhoven and report directly to the Head of Sales Development.
 
What you do on a typical day:
•    You actively approach potential customers
•    You represent GXO within various networks and looking to expand our customer portfolio
•    Maintaining your activities in our Sales Force CRM
•    Assessing RFP – requests from your contacts and prepare them for Business Development
•    Present GXO digitally to customers or by visiting them
•    Closely follow Market Trends and creating new opportunities out of them
•    Be a Brand Ambassador to Future Customers and Contacts from the past
 
What you need to succeed at GXO:
•    Degree in e.g. Supply chain, Commercial economy or Business administration
•    At the start of your career or looking to move to another job or industry
•    Keen to learn to communicate and develop your commercial skills
•    Eagerness to build up an extensive logistics network in the Dutch and Belgium market
•    Self-starter with innovative and ambition to grow into Business Development or Account Management
•    Excellent communication skills in at least Dutch, English, knowledge of the French Language is a prerequisite
