What do you do as an IT Technical Engineer?
As an IT Technical Engineer you will be supporting the Business with solving Infrastructure and network issues. All incidents and requests are logged in Service Now which is our global IT ticketing tool, managed by the Service Desk. You will also be involved in IT Infra Projects. You are a member of the Central Field Service Team with focus on Belgium and The Netherlands. You report into the Manager IT FS/EUC. You will be working at the IT HO in Eindhoven but also at our different sites within our region.
Key tasks:
- You analyse and solve hardware and software incidents that are assigned to you by the Service Desk
- You escalate complex questions/malfunctions to suppliers and/or technical administrators
- You log calls in the central registration system (Service Now)
- You configure, install and implement hardware and software
- You work with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, VMWare, …) and networks (LAN/WAN)
- You acquire extensive knowledge about the different applications that are supported by IT infrastructure
- You are responsible for the daily IT-tasks like eg backups and monitoring of infra
- You participate in various IT projects : New site set up, brownfield implementations, site/network overhaul
- You closely follow various trends within the constantly changing IT-world

Job Requirements:
- You have a Bachelor degree in IT
- Preferably, you have 3 years of experience in a Logistics / Supply Chain environment
- You are ITIL-certified or are willing to get it
- You have a driver’s license B
- You don’t have a 9 to 5 mentality
- You will be part of the on-call duty
- You will work from different sites in our Region when needed
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. Any orher language is an asset.
