WMS Process Expert EU

As WMS Process Expert you will support the operations and external customer implementing system and process changes, by designing solutions based on business and system requirements.

During the development cycle you will support the build team after which you will be executing a functional test phase validating the delivered solution against the system design and business requirements.

During the acceptance test phase support the customer and operations by analysing test defects and providing solutions (with the build team).

The scope covers all GXO operations for an international client operating in the bicycle, rowing, and fishing industry.

 

You will be based at our office in Eindhoven and report directly to the IT Program Manager

 

What do you do as WMS Process Expert?

Testing & analysing defects

  • Test functionality, integration and processes delivered by the DevOps
  • Analyse defects reported by Operations, resolve these or work with DevOps to get these resolved
  • Execute E2E test scripts on request of the customer
  • Configure the WMS parameters in support of functional and technical requirements
  • Create functional test scripts and execute these, validating system and operational processes


Design & Implementation

  • Design system and process solutions based on business requirements in alignment with GXO operations, customer and build teams
  • Attend design workshops
  • Validate solutions with local operations and customer
  • Implement configuration changes, validate results


Communication

  • Follow the planning of the Stories in the Sprint, align with operations on expected test dates
  • Explain new functionality to WMS key users, and assist them in understanding the delivered changes and needed configuration

  • Self-motivated
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Xray is a plus
  • Team-oriented. Consults with team members and management as needed to complete assigned responsibilities
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment
  • Establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
     

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role Minimum 1 year working in an international environment
  • BsC minimum, Master preferred in transportation/logistics or IT Sciences
