Warehouse Training First Line Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Training First Line Manager to join our team in Enfield, supporting our customer, Iceland. Supporting the operational leaders, you will be responsible for all operational and MHE training, including planning, content, delivery, recording, validation and continuously improve the site training deliverables.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working an ‘any 5 days from 7’ pattern, on a rotating shift covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Day to day management of operations training monitoring and delivery while taking responsibility for all aspects of training content and recordkeeping
  • Build and develop an operational training plan to meet cross-functional needs, including mandatory training to ensure legal compliance
  • Liaise and develop relationships with internal and external customers to better understand the requirements and improve ways of working
  • Ensure the required level of qualified MHE Instructors are in place and all training is delivered and assessed in line with audit standards

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience of deploying the team across a multi shift operation to meet changing priorities
  • Ability to interpret and present data to a variety of audiences
  • Understanding of MHE training requirements
  • Knowledge of GDPR principles
