Stock Controller

Do you enjoy investigating? Are you proficient in Excel and love systems?  Do you have some experience of stock control and are looking for a new challenge? Then this could be the perfect role for you!

 

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re recruiting for a Stock Controller to join our team at Harlow CM19 5TD.  We are offering this role on a full-time, permanent basis, where you will be required to work Monday – Friday, between the hours of 09:00 – 17:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Daily checks, updates and monitoring of stock levels on spreadsheets via Excel
  • Perform cycle counts and investigations in Bin Locations
  • Compile daily inventory reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate discrepancies via System transaction history
  • Perform corrections on system
  • Excel skills essential
  •  

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written
  • Active listening and influencing skills with the ability to deal with challenging issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WMS
