Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
As the Senior Supervisor, Continuous Improvement, you will be responsible for supporting and driving continuous improvement and support for existing clients. We want to utilize your experience to fuel productivity and drive culture and performance improvement within the supply chain network. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Partner with management teams to assess current processes and identify opportunities for Lean process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement of stock integrity through investigations and root cause analysis, leveraging WMS and Microsoft tools
- Actively support continuous improvement projects and departmental development initiatives
- Oversee project planning, coordination, and execution alongside the IT department to implement process improvements and performance initiatives that streamline operations and enhance system capabilities
- Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections
- Direct and prioritize the activities of the site maintenance team to maintain operational effectiveness
- Guide, coach, and motivate employees to reach their potential and uphold high performance standards
- Implement and enforce all company policies, procedures, and standards consistently
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
- 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Experience in quality, engineering, lean ability to identify best practices in a high-volume production environment
- PMP certified
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
- Solid time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
- Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
- Reach (including above your head), bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
- Handle or manage tools or equipment
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
