1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

 

We’re seeking a Customer Service Supervisor, that will ensure customer satisfaction at an accelerated service commitment level, as well as lead the performance of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) team to provide maximum productivity and outstanding service. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Independently perform daily tasks to ensure processes are handled in the most optimal way
  • Review individual shipments to ensure processes are followed by service center personnel
  • Research mis-shipments, lost orders, orders with non-compliance to determine root cause and preventative action
  • Communicate with customers, operations personnel, senior management and vendors to resolve issues around shipments that are not shipped on time or incorrectly
  • Support Operations management and CSRs to properly following processes and other operational initiatives
  • Work with damages and returns team when shipments involve salvage
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and execute action plans to increase efficiency
  • Maintain highest standard of customer focus and protection of company’s interest

What you need to succeed at GXO: 

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a distribution or warehousing environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Experience using SAP
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance and structure in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid critical thinking and planning ability; flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to dive into the details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner
  • Solid computer, typing and 10-key skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

This job requires the ability to:

  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
  • Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
  • Handle or manage tools or equipment
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
