The Lead Systems Analyst, is vital to supporting the successful execution of GXO IT initiatives by coordinating tasks, aligning resources, driving communications and ensuring timely delivery. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, key users and business process leads to analyze business problems and capture detailed requirements; reconcile conflicts
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops that determine process requirements and system changes
  • Develop detailed user stories, work plans, deliverables, definitions of overall approaches and mobilization efforts for CRM initiatives
  • Work closely with IT teams to validate and ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements; participate in initial validation and testing, and facilitate user-acceptance testing
  • Guide and consult with other analysts
  • Partner with program and training/communication teams to ensure business readiness for organizational change, and a schedule for impacted processes/systems changes; assist in creating training documentation and delivering train-the-trainer sessions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on production deliverables.
  • Monitor release progress, track milestones, update schedules and communicate milestones and changes effectively.
  • Identify and address potential risks or issues, escalating them to senior management when necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver regular release status reports to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of release management tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain release documentation, including meeting minutes and reports.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) development and implementation
  • Implementation and support experience with web-based applications, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and small parcel shipment systems
  • Expertise and experience in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution
  • Experience using SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Thorough understanding of current information systems technologies databases, web-based systems, and system design.
  • 2+ of experience in an IT or Technical Project Management
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, or Scrum Master) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or software development projects.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices or other IT service management frameworks.
  • This role has a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned extended weekday hours, which will include weekends.
