As the Senior Supply Chain Project Manager, you will play a key role in contributing to the operational efficiency and financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and on budget. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide leadership for project execution for both internal departments and external clients; offer direction and guidance to the project team and communicate project requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and manage cohesive project programs and plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, risk/issue mitigation processes and major milestones
  • Work with business process owners to identify and scope areas of opportunity  
  • Creatively scope, manage and implement projects to meet business needs
  • Build solid collaboration and relationships with senior leadership to support company goals
  • Develop customer presentations that illustrate solution components and value propositions
  • Support other project managers and project team members as needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously of varying scope and size in a supply chain, logistics, or distribution environment
  • 2 years of experience using project management software
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Advanced degree in Project Management, Supply Chain or related field
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Solid understanding of professional services economics, and experience with change management processes
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
