HR Coordinator

Here at GXO we are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our Drinks team based at Dove Valley Park, DE65.

You’ll support the delivery of a first-class on-site people service, with administrative responsibility for HR and Engagement. This is a fairly new role so lots of opportunity to make it your own and great development role!

 

This is a part time, permanent role and we are super flexible on hours from 24 to 30 hours per week, flexible on days but Monday and Thursday are a must!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum, this will be pro rata based on working hours above and same for 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support the build of the HR function, implementing processes and systems to deliver objectives, playing an active part in the contract ethos and strategy
  • Maintain the HR system and associated records, such as sickness and holiday entitlement
  • Get involved in ER issues, recruitment, employee engagement and organisational change
  • Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience working in a HR environment preferred dealing with ER and recruitment activity
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Strong in systems - HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel
  • Experience of undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with and advising employees and line managers on employee relations issues
