Administration Supervisor

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for an Administration Supervisor to support the warehouse and transport operation on our high‑profile B&Q contract in Cambuslang. In this role, you’ll lead the administration function, ensuring that orders, stock, system activity and reporting are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with customer expectations. You’ll coach and support administrative colleagues and operational teams, acting as the go‑to person for data, systems, compliance and problem‑solving.
This is a full-time, permanent position working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern. Predominantly you’ll work Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00. However, flexibility is essential — this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Oversee all warehouse and transport administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Process store orders, goods-in data, productivity reporting and stock control tasks
- Act as a system “Super User”, resolving stock and WMS issues and supporting colleagues
- Investigate late picks, stock discrepancies and supplier POD queries, providing timely resolutions
- Lead, coach and support admin and operational colleagues through 1‑2‑1s, feedback and behavioural conversations
- Maintain strong communication with suppliers, National Planning, warehouse teams and other GXO functions
- Support stock counts, audits, KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Set the standard for customer service, accuracy, system compliance and safe working practices
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in a warehouse administration role, ideally with experience supervising or coaching, within a fast-paced logistics environment
- Strong PC skills, including confident use of Excel (formulas, reporting, data accuracy) and WMS platforms
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritise and work at pace
