Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our depot in Glasgow for our client, one of the leading retail companies, B&Q.

 

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of Any 5 in 7 Days with the start time windows of 02:00 - 06:00 for 2 weeks and then 14:00 - 18:00 for 1 week.

What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Accurately and safely delivering goods to customer stores
  • Operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Completing all paperwork correctly and on time
  • Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
  • Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
  • Previous experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable
