At GXO, we are looking for an Inventory Controller to join our AkzoNobel team in Goole. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, linking our operational and customer service teams as the on-site point of contact for order management.

 

This is a full-time, permanent role, where you will be working Monday- Friday, covering hours 08:30-16:30 (fixed hours for work-life balance).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and quality control
  • Perform accurate inventory checks and maintain stock records
  • Conduct regular physical counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate stock issues and review system transactions
  • Create and share daily reports on stock and productivity
  • Assist with stock movements and rebalancing

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Strong admin skills with attention to detail
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Good Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, charts)
  • Experience with WMS (ideally Red Prairie) and SAP preferred
