Office Administrator (FTC until July 2026)

Here at GXO, we are on the lookout for an Office Administrator to join us at our AkzoNobel site in Goole. The AkzoNobel Distribution Centre in Goole is a 24/5 operation covering all areas of the decorative business. This role is to cover several administration tasks, whilst also providing quality administrative support across the site, predominantly the Customer Service team but could also support DLX and Stock Control.
In short, we need an all-rounder, someone who will pitch in when needed!
This role is being offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis until July 2026, where you’ll be working Monday-Friday between the hours of 08:30-16:30. Some flexibility may be required, this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- To provide accurate and efficient administrative support for the site, as required
- Track and record all Driver daily hours and prepare and submit for monthly pay
- Keep updated sickness/holiday/overtime records for site weekly
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all weekly financial figures before preparing and presenting the weekly build file to the Finance Manager
- Responsible for site consumables such as uniform, operational supplies and trailers
- Support for visitors to site, admin/note-taking support for managers and general administration support
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Past administration experience, ideally in a people focused role
- Good understanding of SAP and DLX would be preferred
- A confident communicator with excellent written English
- Good use of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong organisational skills
