Supervisor, Customer Service Quality Assurance

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team, at our AkzoNobel site in Goole. You’ll be responsible for the warehouse function, managing your team and ensuring that all warehouse tasks are completed in line with company policies and customer requirements.
This role is being offered on a temporary fixed-term contract ending 31st July 2026.
Working Monday - Friday on a 2 weekly rotational shift pattern between the hours of 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00, you will be ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation, providing ongoing support and development to keep in line with the agreed budget and service targets.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the team in a professional, open manner, displaying consistency, honesty & integrity at all times. Deliver staff briefs, toolbox talks & training seminars effectively and positively
- Challenge processes, drive change and improvements whilst championing engagement across all levels of the business. Create, develop and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all to improve employee engagement
- Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies, company values and ethical practice, escalating any issues promptly to line management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous management experience, ideally from working in a similar fast-moving and customer-focused environment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
- An understanding of continuous improvement tools, health and safety, compliance, and employee relations
- Excellent team management skills, including professional reviews, RTW, appraisals and disciplinary
- Strong Communication skills
