Here at GXO Greenford we are currently recruiting for a permanent, part time nights, Warehouse Operative to join us at our team, supporting our customer, Waitrose. You will play a key role in delivering the exceptional service that we’re known for at Waitrose & Partners by accurately selecting products for our online customers

 

This is a part‑time permanent position where you will work the hours of 23:00-07:00. Either 2,3 or 4 days. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As a Warehouse Operative you’ll get:

 

  • An hourly rate of £13.09 per hour
  • Additional premium of £2.78 per hour between 22:00- 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Pick customer orders accurately, safely, and according to targets Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
  • Load and unload vehicles to schedule accurately recording appropriate details
  • Work across all temperature (ambient and chilled environments and handle alcohol and meat
  •  Store and replenish goods accurately and safely within the set targets 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Enjoy helping others and working in a team
  • Able to lift and handle goods, lifting up to 20 kgs
  • Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
  • Have a good degree of literacy and numeracy
  • Understands the basics and importance of Health and Safety procedures
