As a Customer Service Officer you process orders, dealing with tickets, chat function support, prepare correspondence, and fulfil customers’ needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Research and analyses customer enquiries and complaints received by management.  

  • This role will be covering customer queries for the Nordics, but based at our site in Hamina, Finland.   
  • Fluency in English and Finnish is required for the role.
  • This role is working Monday to Friday flexible day time hours (7am – 3pm/ 8am – 4pm/ 9am – 5pm)

 

What you do on a typical day – Customer Service Officer

  • Understands basic administrative functions of Customer Service area. 
  • Able to handle routine customer calls and appropriately escalate complex issues to the next level of management. 
  • Must be able to research customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. 
  • Maintain records of all customer interactions and transactions to include all inquiries, comments, complaints, and resolution decisions. 
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, e-mail and face-to-face. 
  • Investigating and solving customers' problems (these may be more complex or long-standing problems). 
  • Producing documentation/written information for customers when requested. 
  • Investigating and solving simple customers' problems 
  • Able to articulate clearly with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service provided. 
  • Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption. 

  

What you need to succeed at GXO 

  • Minimum Required Experience: 1+ years of Operations experience in a similar role 
  • Ideally from a logistics or similar environment. 
  • Fluent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Finnish 
  • Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment. 
  • Flexibility to support within operations when required.
