HR Advisor
Exciting opportunity, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor for Hamina, Finland. This role is supporting various sites across the Nordics incorporating, Sweden and Norway, reporting into a HR Manager.

- Fluent in Finnish and English, speaking and written
- Clear understanding of Finnish laws and legislations
- Must have the ability to take the HR lead for employees of these sites within these countries, working independently
- Must be from Logistics/Supply chain or similar operational based industry
- Previous experience is required as a HR professional
- Union experience is a must
- Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a driver and have access to a car
- Some travel might be required
What your day looks like as a HR Advisor
- You will oversee the full HR cycle form recruitment, to onboarding, to employee experience and engagement, applying the local employment law
- You will be managing the screening, hiring, onboarding, and development of new employees
- You will act as a liaison between employees and management on different issues/topics or ER matters
- You have the ability to analyse data from support and translate it into HR initiatives, whilst supporting sites management identifying and implementing HR interventions that positively impact profitability
- You will ensure compliance with the company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations
- You will be the point of contact for Union
- You will coordinate training and coaching to management leadership on policies, teamwork, and compliance
- You will be promoting employee engagement and a positive working environment through regular personal contact
- Supporting and implementing GXO HR EMEA initiatives
- Maintaining accurate and compliant HR documentation and records dealing with confidential data
- Leading, reporting HR-related administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Ensuring safe working practices and contributing to environmental performance initiatives
What do you need to be successful
- Fluent in Finnish and English, speaking and written, Norwegian and Swedish language would be an advantage
- Clear understanding of Finnish laws and legislations
- Must have the ability to take the HR lead for employees of these sites within these countries, working independently
- Must be from Logistics/Supply chain or similar operational based industry
- Previous experience is required as a HR professional, dealing with payroll queries and case management
- Union experience is a must
- Excel intermediate level as minimum required, with exposure to other systems; protime, visma or Success Factors/SF would be beneficial but not essential
