Transport Team Manager (Days and Nights)

If so, join us as our Transport Team Manager!
As Transport Team Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering a smooth, efficient and fully compliant transport operation, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and in full. Leading from the front, you’ll drive performance through effective management of KPIs, drive engagement and schedule adherence, while coaching and developing your team to achieve operational excellence for our customer Sainsburys. You’ll build strong relationships across the business and with our trade union, fostering a positive and engaged culture, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, legal compliance and communication throughout the operation.
This is a full time, permanent position working an average of 40 hours per week. Working 4 on 4 off, this will be 4 weeks of days 06:00 to 18:00 and 4 weeks of nights 18:00 to 06:00).

- Keep the operation running like clockwork—ensuring every delivery is on time, in full, and fully compliant
- Drive performance by managing KPIs, analysing data, and turning insight into action
- Lead, coach and develop your team—delivering great people management and engagement
- Build strong relationships across teams and with unions to create a positive, high-performing culture
- Champion safety and compliance, making sure all transport, driver and H&S standards are met every time
