Warehouse Operative

Are you a skilled Warehouse Operative with VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience? Our Kellogg’s team is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Haydock (WA11 9FS).

 

The role involves working 48 hours per week on a ‘4 on 4 off’ shift pattern, rotating between day shifts (06:00 - 18:00) and night shifts (18:00 – 06:00)

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Accurately assemble and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring that all items are correctly packed and labelled for shipment
  • Consistently follow and uphold all warehouse safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates
  • Work efficiently to meet daily order fulfilment targets, ensuring that all orders are processed promptly and with precision
  • Provide support with various other warehouse tasks as required and assist with ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of operations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Ideally, you will have evidence of RTITB or ITSSAR Accredited Certification (if these have expired, we will refresh you)
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • A positive, safety-conscious attitude and commitment to working collaboratively
