What you do on a typical day as Data Specialist:
- As a Data Specialist, you will work with the operational data coming from the logistics operation so teamwork is a huge must for this role
- You process the data and considering the KPIs, budgets and various forecasts. Also, your numbers will be used for the weekly / monthly figures and various KPI reports
- In consultation with your colleagues within the operational teams, you are working on accurate and correct calculations
- Using WMS data to prepare business reports to measure End to End operations
- Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and putting forward proposals for improvements
What do you need to succeed as Data Specialist:
- You have at least a HBO / University diploma
- Experience and knowledge of Logistics processes gained within a similar role
- Knowledge of Excel, SQL, data studio and Power BI
- You are a strong communicator, analytical thinker and like to dive into numbers
- Good command of the English language in word and writing, Dutch is not needed but is a plus
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Must be a team player with the ability to challenge the status quo
