Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to make an impact in a dynamic logistics environment? Do you thrive on supporting employees and management while ensuring compliance and engagement? Then we are looking for you as a Human Resources Officer for BU South (Focus Venlo & Heerlen)! 

What you do on a typical day 

• Provide support for the full scope of HR activities, including staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations. 

• Act as a liaison between employees, management, and the HR function. 

• Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience. 

• Guide managers and supervisors in fair HR practices and assist with performance management. 

• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in compliance with company policies and regulations. 

• Partner with leave administrators and management to administer and track leave programs. 

• Promote employee engagement through several HR projects within the Business Unit. 

• Support GXO HR initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of our HR processes within the Business Unit. 

• Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and GXO standards. 

What you need to succeed at GXO 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area with strong analytical skills. 

• 2–3 years’ experience in HR as a generalist within a complex organization. 

• Knowledge of HR systems and HR analytics. 

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written). 

• Self-driven, resilient, and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills. 

• Willingness to travel between the GXO Sites in BU South (Venlo, Roermond, Wessem, Heerlen) 

• Result driven no nonsense personality with the talent to connect with employees on all levels.  

• A great sense of humor will help.
