To support our large, highly automated site in Heerlen, we are looking for a 2 x Key User’s to join our team.

 

In this role, you’ll provide first‑line IT support with a strong focus on the Warehouse Management System (WMS), helping keep operations running smoothly in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. You’ll be the key link between operations and IT, supporting users and driving continuous improvement.

 

Monday – Friday 6.00am – 3.00pm rotating 3.00pm – 12.00pm with Saturday morning shift every other week

 

What you do on a typical day – Key User

  • Ensure the correct and optimal use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) on site
  • Provide firstline WMS support, troubleshooting system issues and managing IT tickets by priority
  • Act as the key link between operations, IT, and external partners for all WMS-related topics
  • Support warehouse users with WMS interfaces, processes, and improvements
  • Translate operational needs into functional system requirements
  • Test new system implementations, define and execute UAT scenarios, and validate results
  • Define KPIs and reporting to support operational performance
  • Create documentation (SOPs), explain new functionality, and train end users
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within a large, automated, highvolume operation

 

What you need to succeed at GXO 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a logistics environment
  • Experience on implementations and continuous improvement
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably WCS and/or SCADA systems
  • Detail orientated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of logistics and warehouse processes
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness and flexibility to work in rotating 2 shifts
    • (6.00 – 15.00 + 15.00 – 24.00) with Saturday morning every other week 6.00 – 15.00 – day off in week
