What does your day look like as an Operations Manager

  • You will maintain the day-to-day operational focus and lead the operational team on a daily basis
  • You will work in the warehouse according to the LEAN philosophy and take charge of operational implementations, evaluations & budgets
  • You will be coaching and mentoring your team, managing situations where a consensus needs to be found
  • You will be responsible for a safe working environment
  • You will be the primary contact person for your customers, managing expectations/statistics, implementing and delivering on KPIs and productivity targets
  • You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting for your accounts
  • You will report to the Site Manager


What do you need to be successful

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent through experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Operations role and managerial experience of leading a team of 50 or more
  • Good knowledge of automation
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment which is extremely fast-paced
  • Lean background – ideally 5S
  • Ability to think outside the box and solve problems methodically
  • Knowledge of WMS systems
  • Languages: Fluent English on a business level. Dutch is desirable
