Are you an experienced workforce planner with a talent for managing temporary labour and optimizing operational performance? Then we are looking for you as a Senior Workforce Coordinator in Heerlen!

What you do on a typical day

• Manage workforce planning and coordination at the Heerlen site, ensuring efficient use of temporary labor.
• Align workforce strategies with site objectives and operational needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external staffing agencies.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs and workforce trends, proposing improvements to enhance performance.
• Support operational teams by bridging workforce planning with on-site execution.
• Lead and coach 1–2 Workforce Coordinators, fostering ownership and flexibility within the team.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch labour law and regulations in all workforce activities.

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Strong understanding of Dutch labour law and regulations.
• Background in staffing agencies with hands-on experience managing temporary workers and agencies.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and ability to connect planning with execution.
• Data- and KPI-driven mindset, with analytical skills to identify trends and improvements.
• Ownership, flexibility, and proactive approach to workforce challenges.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in workforce management or a related role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both required).
