What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Evaluate applicable certification or specialized training programs to align with organizational needs and individual career development goals
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and third‑party audits; contribute to the preparation and presentation of the Annual Quality Management Review
  • Support internal and customer audits of warehouse and transportation processes, including the preparation of objective evidence
  • Interpret requirements of international standards; review and analyze processes and regulatory or customer requirements to ensure compliance with organizational and international quality standards
  • Manage the SharePoint site used for quality documentation, forms, standard operating procedures, and training records
  • Monitor members of the AmAPAC Quality team as they perform Quality Management activities (audit activities, CAPA) to enhance knowledge and execution
  • Monitor and report on key logistics quality metrics
  • Develop and maintain dashboards or trackers for audit findings, incident reports, and continuous improvement projects
  • Support site‑level activities by observing root-cause analysis and corrective‑action tracking related to logistics issues such as shipping errors, carrier nonconformance, and warehouse process deviations
  • Train site personnel on documentation procedures and the use of SharePoint for quality‑related functions
  • Create and maintain SharePoint‑based workflows, libraries, permissions, and version control to streamline quality reporting and approvals
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, driving root‑cause analysis and CAPA with timely and effective follow‑up
  • Develop enterprise-wide communications related to critical changes or updates within the AmAPAC QMS; review site‑specific quality documentation to ensure alignment with current Quality Management System standards
  • Ensure compliance with document‑control standards, including ISO-based, aerospace, ITAR/EAR, medical, and GFSI‑benchmarked protocols, where applicable
  • Support the setup of quality systems for new sites and coordinate across site leadership, IT, and HRIS
  • Mentor junior quality team members and provide training on QMS processes and quality tools

 

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, or a related field, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Strong knowledge of globally recognized quality management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Automate, Power BI, or advanced Excel for dashboards and automation

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Strong time‑management and project‑management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • ASQ certification (e.g., CQIA or CQA) or Six Sigma training
  • Experience with quality and/or logistics‑related compliance programs
  • 5 years of experience in quality control
  • Availability to travel 25–30% of the time
  • Experience conducting quality management system audits
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills; ability to quickly master new concepts, ideas, and practices
  • Experience in quality data analysis and reporting
