We’re seeking a Shift Manager to join our multiuser site in West Hallam. While working with us, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse, prioritising colleague wellbeing, health, and safety. & overseeing operational KPIs are met
This is a full-time, permanent role, working on a shift pattern of Monday– Friday, with covering a Sunday on a rota basis. The working hours are 5:30am to 2pm & 1:30pm to 10pm on rotational.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £33,178 + shift allowance of £2488 (£35,666), and 25-days annual leave, plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Providing leadership and guidance for the team leaders and warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address any potential issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- To plan and achieve daily, weekly and monthly operational and KPI targets
- Train and develop all team members to ensure a fully multi-skilled and capable work force to meet customer needs and demands
- Ensuring customer service level agreements are achieved, escalating any issues impacting on these to line management.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a fast paced environment
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
