Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor that can lead from the front. Based at our Kimberly Clark site in Chorley. You will manage the daily operation ensuring that safety is the top priority whilst delivering the customer requirements in both inbound and outbound operations. Ensuring the right level of labour is available to complete all tasks for the day. Ensuring all team members work in a safe and efficient manner utilising the systems and methods provided and upholding the GXO values.

 

You will be working Sunday - Wednesday between the hours of 07:00 – 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,556.80 per annum and 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Deliver shift start briefs including safety/opertaional updates and other information
  • Feedback to the management team at daily safety/ops meeting
  • Manage the daily operation, ensuring safety is the priority
  • Induct new starters, including agency staff
  • Conduct investigations/disaplinaries as required, in line with company policy

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience of managing and motivating a team
  • MHE licence is essential (Reach Truck or Counterbalance)
  • Ability to build relationships both within the team and senior management team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Literate and numerate
