At our new and growing site in Lelystad, supporting a well-known global fashion brand, we’re looking for a Process Controller to play a key role in our outbound operations. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, is able to work shifts and keeping things moving.
What you do on a typical day
Your main responsibility as a Process Controller will be to dispatch freight correctly from the Distribution Hub preparing the necessary documentation for transport to national and international destinations.
Maintain a good flow of communication with all the Distribution Hub team and all other related personnel ensuring we are all aligned to focus our goals.
Other responsibilities:
Export
- Understand the invoicing process
 - Preparing documents and Pre-alerts for destination agents creating the necessary files and documents for import in each destination country
 - Monitoring that all the trucks leave on time
 - Checks in the system to control that all the merchandise is invoiced and recorded
 
Transport
- Resolution and monitoring incidents of shipments
 - Contact with transport companies and forwarders
 - Control of transport costs
 - Reviewing and processing invoices for their payment

What you need to succeed at GXO
- You have studies related to Transport or/and experience in Import, Transport or Warehouse roles
 - You are fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
 - Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish would be an advantage
 - You have availability to work in shifts and weekends
 - You are self-driven, result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
 - You have Knowledge of Microsoft office and Logistics/warehouse
 - You are alert, precise, flexible, can cope with stress and have a problem-solving ability
