For our growing site in Lelystad, working for a well-known Global Fashion brand, we are looking for a Technical Supervisor for 40 hours a week. In the role you will work closely with your colleagues from the maintenance service to ensure
that all work is taken up as planned. You will report to the Technical manager.
What you do on a typical day
You will be responsible for the optimization of maintenance services, standarization and creation of procedures and optimization of the existing ones. As well as monitoring the implementation of techniques and assessment using KPIs.
You will ensure the good execution of the planned and unplanned maintenance in a certain functional area. In addition, you will check the availability of the machinery and repetitive errors in that functional area to detect possible improvements.
Other responsibilities:
• Generate reports and detect possible improvements
• Oversee processes to ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately and on time
• Measure work performance, compare results to objectives, take corrective actions
• Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance
• Monitoring a quality control of preventive, and corrective maintenance of all installation’s equipment
• Improve industrial maintenance strategies
• Work together with Operations to meet customer goals and GXO objectives
• CMMS and SCADA optimization
What you need to succeed at GXO
• You have a bachelor’s degree, e.g. in Industrial engineering, specializing in organization, degree in Maintenance, business, construction, or automation branch.
• Knowledge of machines, equipment, warehouse facilities, maintenance and repair methods and procedures
• Experience in handling multiple projects and tight timelines
• Vendor interaction and negotiation with technical suppliers
• MS Office. Advance level of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Spanish is a plus
• Experience in warehouse management systems is an advantage, e.g., in Sorter, Logistics Engineering, Automated Warehouse, Production Planning, Power BI, solidworks
• Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment
• Able to work in a diverse environment and gain exposure to an international working environment.
• Committed to delivering high quality work and have a professional critical attitude and a straight back
• Result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
• Ability to monitor and uphold high quality of service to clients (internal and external).
• Ability to work as a team member and manage outsourced teams
• Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative
• Strategic, innovative vision
• Experience with suppliers such as TGW, KNAPP, DUERKOPP, VANDERLANDE or DEMATIC is a plus.
