In this role, you will drive daily performance, develop high-performing teams, and ensure that processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations. You will play a crucial part in shaping a rapidly growing, high-volume environment where continuous improvement, operational discipline, and strong leadership are essential. What your week looks like as a Warehouse Manager
- Plan and organize the weekly workload, set clear priorities and ensure smooth operational execution in line with KPI and rate expectations.
- Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors to build high-performing and engaged teams.
- Monitor performance, analyze deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement using LEAN principles and GXO Warehousing System practices.
- Coordinate workload planning, staffing levels and shift support to ensure a reliable and efficient operational flow.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, legal requirements and GXO policies, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of operational processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engage with the customer on daily operational topics, while contributing to sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
- You regularly meet and align with your Operations Manager, to whom you directly report, ensuring clear priorities, performance follow-up and smooth coordination across the operation.

What we are looking for:
- (Pre) Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, operations or business, with 7+ years’ warehouse/operations management experience and proven leadership.
- Proven people-management skills, including experience in performance, case and absence management, coaching conversations and developing teams in a high-volume operational environment.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (Spanish is a plus), with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively in an international environment.
- Proactive, resilient and results-driven, able to take ownership, work under pressure and deliver high-quality service.
- Strong analytical, financial and reporting skills, with broad technical insight and a willingness to continuously develop.
- Experience with or affinity for LEAN / 5S / Six Sigma and a structured, improvement-focused way of working.
- Flexible mindset, being able to work outside a 9–5 schedule, including rotational shifts.
