1st/2nd Line Technical Analyst

If you’re an experienced 2nd Line Support Analyst who likes the sound of providing key end user support to a leading executive team in a modern office in the heart of central London, we have the role for you.

 

As the first port of call for support and the resolution of deskside incidents, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our global head office runs smoothly from a technical perspective. You’ll be based full-time from the GXO head office on Great Portland Street, with occasional travel to our other locations as and when required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Carry out the installation and configuration of computers, laptops and peripherals to a standard build specification
  • Create, update and resolve incidents and requests in our service management system, SNOW
  • Troubleshoot issues with Windows, Mac/iOS hardware and software
  • Support with video conferencing equipment, such as Poly, Yealink, Teams, Zoom etc.
  • Perform user account administration within Active Directory

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in a 2nd line support role with the ability to configure PCs and laptops to a standard build specification
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 (a background in Active Directory/Azure, Windows Server 2016/2019 and Poly VC equipment would be a huge advantage)
  • A track record of delivering effective corporate mobile phone administration
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels – this role will be forward-facing with lots of interaction with global senior stakeholders
