Transport Team Manager

Here are GXO, we are looking for a Transport Team Manager to join on our Ikea contract at the Wembley site for our customer Ikea. As a Transport Team Manager, you will assist with the smooth running of a busy transport department by effective management while actively promoting and managing good health and safety practices within the working environment,

 

This a full-time permanent position working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of 05:00 till 13:30 and 11:00 till 23:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Manage on road issues and the delivery failure process to a high standard of compliance
  • Allocate fleet and crews for home delivery to correct routes to ensure legal compliance
  • Manage driver performance to achieve high standards of customer service, ensuring a high level of NPS / Happy Customer score is achieved
  • Liaise with customer to resolve any customer issues

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Understanding of WTD and Driver’s hours
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Experience of investigations and disciplinaries
  • Good knowledge of TMS systems
