Twilight Shift Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a proactive and driven Shift Manager to join our high-performing team on our Primark site based in Lutterworth. You’ll manage operational activities to achieve daily objectives and customer targets by overseeing the workflow throughout the warehouse by target and objective setting work Team Leaders and Warehouse colleagues.


This is a full-time, permanent position covering Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 18:00 till 02:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,500 per annum, and 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Managing and motivating Team Leaders and Warehouse colleagues across shifts
  • Ensuring stock accuracy, shift coverage, and absence tracking
  • Acting as key point of contact for client queries and updates
  • Driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and safety
  • Collaborating with Inventory, Admin, and Quality teams to ensure seamless operations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven experience in operations or warehouse management – ideally in eCommerce or fashion logistics
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a people-first mindset
  • A sharp eye for detail and a structured, process-driven approach
  • Confidence in managing performance, absence, and holiday planning
  • Comfortable with data, KPI, and systems (Excel, JDA, etc.)
