Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 driver to join our overnight delivery team in Lymedale for our customer, New Look.
You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, working 4 or 5 days between Sunday to Thursday start times between 07:00 and 04:00 and can vary between 08:00 – 15:00

- £38,240.63 per annum

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Conduct overnight deliveries as part of a two-person crew, ensuring accurate, timely movement of our customers’ products
- Handball stock in the correct manner from vehicle to store and collect returns
- Hold responsibility for store keys and alarm codes
- Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customer
- Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
- A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
