Class 2 Driver (Days)

You will be working a minimum of 48 hours per week, on an ‘any 5 from 8’ shift pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 08:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Carry out thorough pre- and post-shift vehicle checks to ensure it's in top working condition
- Deliver an average of 4 tote boards containing chilled, frozen, and ambient goods, with approximately 10–12 drops per shift
- Assist with unloading stock at delivery points
- Collect waste materials and return them to the site
- Safely navigate through busy city routes and manage challenging parking situations
- Monitor vehicle condition, reporting any defects or signs of wear promptly
- Complete all required documentation accurately and submit it on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence with Category C (Class 2)
- Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
