Transport Administrator

Have you ever worked in fast-paced logistics environment? Do you have experience in transport, but want a new challenge where you can further develop your skills and knowledge?

 

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for a full-time Transport Administrator to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester for our customer, German athletic apparel and footwear corporation, Adidas on a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of MondayFriday with hours of 06:00 14:00 and 14:00 22:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Carry out all transport office functions in line with company policies and procedures
  • Provide and maintain efficient and effective clerical support for the transport office
  • Responsible for administration aspects of transport planning and management of drivers
  • Complete all daily reports and other general back-office tasks by the end of each shift

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Good knowledge of transport legal responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good MS Office in particular Excel skills
  • Experience within a transport operation is desirable
