 To support our growing presence in Europe, we are looking for a Key User to join our team in Mechelen, Belgium. A Key User is responsible for first line IT support with focus on the Warehouse Management System.

What you do on a typical day – Key User

• Ensure the optimal and correct use of the Warehouse Management System on site
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues
• Investigate and test new system implementations; detect discrepancies and propose effective solutions
• Monitor and follow up on open IT issue tickets to ensure timely resolution
• Observe and assess operational processes to identify and support both system-based and operational improvements
• Support warehouse operations and other onsite business units with WMS interface-related requests
• Translate operational requirements into functional system specifications
• Serve as the main point of contact between operations, IT, and external stakeholders for all WMS-related topics.
• Define and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and test cases; define KPIs and reporting.
• Explain new functionality to end users and assist them in understanding delivered changes and required configurations. (SOP, documentation)
• Provide end-user training on WMS processes and updates.
• Investigate, manage and escalate multiple tickets based on priority and severity to the right stakeholder.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational goals.

What you need to succeed at GXO 

• Previous experience in a similar role within a logistics environment
• Experience on implementations and continuous improvement
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Detail orientated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of logistics and warehouse processes
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English, basic Dutch as an additional
