Project Co-Ordinator

Join our GXO Greene King team as our Project Coordinator, where you will work closely with our operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your strong organisational, effective communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in facilitating the coordination and smooth flow of project activities.


This role is covering our Greene King contract which requires flexibility to travel to different sites; Middleton, Greenford, Coventry, Tilbury and other adhoc locations. This is a full time, permanent position, with hours of Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (flexibility required for business needs).

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support project planning and execution by assisting with project plans, timelines, budgets, documentation, risk registers, task tracking, meeting notes and issue/risk management
  • Coordinate effective communication across internal and external stakeholders, acting as a central point of contact and preparing status reports, presentations and meeting minutes
  • Assist with resource coordination, ensuring teams have what they need, helping allocate personnel/equipment/materials and escalating resourcing issues when required
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation, ensuring all plans, reports, deliverables and closure documents are accurate, up to date and aligned with project standards
  • Contribute to quality assurance by supporting project reviews, identifying improvement opportunities and helping capture lessons learned for future projects

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven project coordination experience (logistics operational environment beneficial), supporting projects from conception through to delivery and preparing or interpreting key project documentation
  • Skilled in stakeholder and senior‑team engagement, with the ability to influence decision‑makers, work collaboratively in fast‑moving operational settings, and deliver strong client‑facing communication
  • Highly organised and financially aware, demonstrating strong multitasking and time‑management skills, solid understanding of finance/controlling for project budget oversight, and proven teamwork abilities
