As our Regional General Manager for our customer Greene King, you will be covering our North region reporting into Operations Director. This is a full time, permanent opportunity with core hours of Monday to Friday (08:00 to 16:00 – with flexibility required for company needs).

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £95,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Drive full operational and contractual compliance, ensuring all SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and Health & Safety standards are consistently met
- Lead customer partnership and communication, acting as primary contact, delivering required reporting, attending reviews, chairing meetings, and building strong internal and external relationships that support business growth
- Provide effective leadership and people management, including team resourcing, development, succession planning, engagement initiatives, and creating a performance‑driven, inclusive culture aligned with GXO and customer values
- Support strategic growth and continuous improvement, contributing to account strategy, leading CI and strategic projects, identifying cost efficiencies, managing suppliers, and undertaking projects as required
- Ensure strong commercial and operational delivery, using sound judgement to optimise benefit to the business and customer, understanding GXO’s direction, and maintaining flexibility to meet contract demands
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong leadership and change‑management capability, proven senior management experience with high‑profile customers (food or brewery operational knowledge required), and a track record of delivering costs, SLAs, KPIs, and P&L performance
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of legal, audit, and safety requirements, ability to build a safety‑focused culture, strong process‑driven approach, and good understanding of continuous improvement principles
- Excellent ability to interpret and present data (savvy MS IT skills) problem‑solving and structured decision‑making, with the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions
- Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships, customer‑centric and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to manage partnership and commercial acumen
- Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel, flexible working approach, integrity and professionalism
