Class 1 Driver

As a Class 1 driver you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of small to large value consignments that requires special handling conditions.
This role includes manual pump truck work moving pallets up to 1000kg.
This is a full time, permanent role.
You will be working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. Start time is 04:00- 06:00, some night out work required.

What you’ll be doing on a typical day:
- Will be delivering customer products on a timely and safe manner
- Providing excellent customer service and taking ownership of customer issues upon delivery
- Moving pallets with a manual pump truck up to 1000kg
- Making sure that the load is always secure following health and safety regulations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Hold a valid Class 1 licence
- Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
